The changes are not just quantitative - in physical infrastructure and expansion of higher technical education, but also qualitative - in what we apparently value and how we relate to each other in family and in society. Students who come to higher technical education are naturally profoundly affected by it. It is the responsibility of the educational institution to develop a discerning ability through which the student is able to discern what is valuable and what is not - what is wheat and what is chaff.
