Ethnomathematics

Ethnomathematics is the study of mathematics imbibed in a culture. This could be the inherent mathematics in the way they make crafts, jewellery or the way they construct their buildings. Our goal is to leverage this mathematics to teach difficult mathematic concepts. Currently, we are working on tools that teach fractions based on ethnomathematics principle.
