Image Classification

Classification is the process of segregating and grouping of the objects with similar spectral signatures. It is the phenomenon of generating thematic output from the satellite imagery.

Lab uses different digital classification techniques. Research is focused on the Automatic extraction of training samples for land cover classification, development of crop calendar using MODIS data.
