Land use Applications

Remote sensing satellite data is subjected to various image processing techniques to derive information about the earth surface features. The derived outputs are used for the management of resources and further for modeling process.

Current research with reference to applications is focused on forestry, agriculture, wetland and land use – land cover and environmental impact studies.
